mes derniers buzz How do I create a buzz ?
From the yoono toolbar :
To create a buzz just click on the "buzz it!" button. The buzz opens and guides you in the creation of your first note.
Put together your buzz as you like by inserting text , images, videos, Amazon objects (books, CD, DVD, games), maps, etc.

From the sidebar :
Click on the "buzz it!" button and select "New buzz..." in the menu. The buzz opens and guides you in creating your first note.

Directly from a web page :

Select the bits you want from the web page. A yoono menu is displayed to create a new buzz or add the selection to an existing buzz.

# The title bar :
This bar allows you to input the title of your choice to identify your buzz. You can modify at any time by clicking on the title. You can also personalize your buzz with an icon via the menu "personalize"

With the hatched bar you can move the buzz on your screen.

The title bar gives quick access to the demo video to discover buzz it!, and to personalize or delete the buzz.

The buttons at the right minimize the buzz, view it in full screen, restore its original size and close it.

# The tool bar :
The toolbar contains commands for editing notes and functions to export, print and share the buzz.

# A note :
The note is where you put the actual content of your buzz. Input comments, edit them, give a score. Enrich your notes with images, videos, link, Amazon objects, maps...

The "Actions" menu - as well as edit commands (copy/paste, insert) - opens the possibility to share and allow sending by email, and even post the note directly to a blog !
# The sidebar :
To the right of the buzz, the sidebar automatically displays the images and videos from the current web page, you can also search for media from Amazon and display yoono suggestions which are calculated from the links you have added to the buzz.

Just click on an item to insert it into the buzz - into the current note or a new note if none is selected.

With the circular double arrow, refresh images etc for the current page of your browser.
You can hide the sidebar using the arrow at the top right of the bar.

















# Buttons to save the buzz :
To save the buzz, use the buttons at the bottom of the buzz window.
  • "Save" save the data of the buzz and leave the window open
  • "Save and close" save the data of the buzz and close the window
  • "Close" close the buzz (asks for confirmation if you have changed the buzz)

Enrich your buzz while you browse the web. Select or search the items via the sidebar and add them in a click to your buzz.
The videos and images are automatically deteted from the current web page.
If you wish to add an Amazon object (book, CD, DVD or game), type a search word via the buzz sidebar, then select the object in the search results. The Amazon search can look in several Amazon stores (USA, ULK, France, Japan, Germany, Canada)

Discover web sites, users from the yoono community, articles and blogs, all related to the subject of you buzz, thanks to yoono suggestions. The suggestions depend on the links in the buzz, they are displayed in the sidebar. Each suggestions, of whatever type can be added to a note to enrich it.

mes derniers buzz Type a note
When you create a buzz, the first note opens automatically for writing. The note contains a link to the browser's current page and a thumbnail when it's available. A clickable text lets you type comments that you can edit later using the various editing commands.

Add a note :
You can add a new note by :
  • clicking on the bar "Add a new note to this buzz".
  • clicking on the "+" in the buzz button in the toolbar or sidebar of the yoono add-on
  • inserting a media of an object when no note is being edited
  • selecting directly on a web page and clicking on the automatic yoono menu

Enrich with an image or a video :
Select in the sidebar the media of your choice found on the current web page. You can insert directly by clicking on the '+' displayed when hovering over an image of video or click on the thumbnail to dislpay a preview.

The media is inserted in edit mode, which allow you to adjust the layout of the note (alignment, resize)

Add a link :
Select the text which should hold the link, and click on the icon "Link". Type a URL and click OK.
If no text is selected the link is inserted with the URL as the text. If no note is currently being edited, a new note is created automatically.

Insert a google-map :
In the "Actions" menu for the note, click on the item 'Insert a Google map'. Type the address the map should be centered on, click OK.
The map is inserted in edit mode, which allows you to adjust the layout in the note (alignment, size, centering on the address)

Delte a note :
Click on the cross to the top right of the note. After confirmation, the note is deleted.

The buzz is your space for expressing yourself - you can personalize it in a number of ways.

# The button icon :
Choose the icon for the buzz which is also used in the toolbar / sidebar of the browser add-on.

# The color of the button :
Select the color for your button in the toolbar and sidebar of the yoono add-on.

# Buzz skins :
Change the appearance of your buzz depending on your mood: "blue" ou "black".

#The background color for the notes :
You can change the note background color using the color pallete.

#Description of your buzz :
Type a descriptive text or phrase for your buzz. This description will be displayed in the introduction to the buzz on your buzzlog.

You have just put together your buzz on your favorite subject and you'd now like to share it. Buzz it lets you choose how to share with a group of friends or the whole world !

# Share with the world :
You can "Share on my yoono buzzlog" via the "Share" menu. To inform friends your buzz is shared, type their address or select them from the contacts of your email account (you must type the login and password but this information is not stored on the yoono servers). The addressee will receive an email with a link to the shared buzz on your buzzlog.

If you want to stop sharing, click on the checkbox next to the menu "share my yoono buzzlog" in the "Share" menu. After confirmation, your buzz is no longer shared and will not appear on your buzzlog in public mode.
# Share with friends :
To "Share with friends" click on the "Share" menu, type their address or select them from the contacts of your email account (you must type the login and password but this information is not stored on the yoono servers). # Share on a blog :
To "Post to a blog" click the "Share" menu. Select the blogging platform from those in the "Type" list (MetaWeblog, LiveJournal, Wordpress, Blogger, My space, Live Space...), type the URL of your blog if required, then type your identification to access the blog (the details not stored on the yoono servers).

You can record these parameters by specifying a label so as not to have to fill out the information each time you post to your blog.

You then are required to fill out optional fields (title, keywords, ...) which are used at publication of the note on your blog.

The buzzlog is a space for each yooser, where they can benefit from the most simple publication tool on the web.
Keep informed of the news on a buzzlog by subscribing to the feed for your preferred buzz topic, the videos, or the images, the stuff and the links.

Buzz :
The last created or modified note is placed at the top of the list of latest buzzes. All buzzes are visible for the user if connected and only shared buzz to visters.

All the notes from a buzz can be seen by clicking on the buzz title. The date of last change is highlighted.

Videos :
The "Videos" page displays notes which contain at least one video. To see the buzz for a given note, click on the buzz title. The last change date is highlighted.

With the right sidebar you can view the latest videos added. By clicking on a thumbnail, the corresponding note is displayed with the possibility to send it by email.

Images :
The "Images" page displays notes which contain at least one image. To see the buzz for a given note, click on the buzz title. The last change date is highlighted.

With the right sidebar you can view the latest images added. By clicking on a thumbnail, the corresponding note is displayed with the possibility to send it by email.

With the slideshow, (button above the right side panel), you can see all the images of your buzz one by one.

Stuff :
The "stuff" page contains buzz notes containing objects like Amazon media (book, CD, DVD, games) or Google maps. The buzz can be viewed by clicking in its title below each note. The last create date is highlighted.

Links :
The "Links" page shows all your bookmarks on line. All links (apart from folders defined as private via the yoono extension) are displayed when connected, only shared folders are displayed to visitors.

#Your profile :
Tell visitors about yourself : the information displayed is what you typed when you installed the yoono add-on. You can change this information at any time from the yoono add-on.

#Your buzz list :
The list is ordered by the the most recently changed or created. All are visible when signed-in, otherwise only shared buzzes are displayed.

The buzz can be viewed by clicking on its title. The last change date is highlighted.

#Signing in :
To access all your buzzes and bookmarks, (apart from private bookmarks) and the yoono account page, you need to sign in via the sign-in zone.
Type the nickname and password of your yoono account, click "Connection" and and you're in !
If you forget your password, click the link "forget your password ?" and follow the instructions.
